DOT Physical

    I need to renew my dot physical but I just had all 4 of my wisdom teeth cut out yesterday (6/23/11) and they put me to sleep and gave me pain pills to take, and be leave me I have been taking them they hurt bad. Anyway I know that would show on a drug test, so how long should I wait after all this is done to take the physical so I don't have all the bs to go thru.

    Any time I had dental work and get pain pills, the company shuts me down for 3 days while I take them. I think codeine comes out of your system pretty quick like 2-3 days. I would wait a week if you can to be safe.

    But on the other hand if you are legit and have a prescription bottle and/or proof of the visit, you have nothing to worry about. It would be better to get it out of your system though.
