How do you get a hold of an original long form of your physical? Just go back to where you took the physical and ask for one?

Yeah, definitely get your BP taken care of BEFORE you go for your physical, the doc will want to see that it's under control. Also, if you wear glasses, get new ones (if they are and old script), and do the same if you wear contacts (since you need a backup).
Someone said SNI has changed their physical requirements, and now require you to actually do some physical activity and monitor your heart rate increase, but that'd be something new. -
SNI?
Well when I started teaching in Vegas a few years back, I had a bunch of panic attacks. Went to a Cardiologist and did the stress test, some fancy ultrasound on my heart, and then I wore a monitor for a day. Basically, my heart walls are thicker than normal (since Im a big guy). He put me on some meds. I think I did ok on the stress test...made it through 90% of it...I was just dying because my mouth was dry...that was killing me, lol.
Argh, my glasses are a few years old...but they should be ok...I need new ones though, hopefully it shouldnt be a problem. They just cost a lot.
When I worked as a para professional in MN 2 years ago year, the district had me go to someone...cant remember their title. Basically he strapped me to a machine in varous ways to test the torque that my body could produce...did my torso and both legs and arms seperately. -
I have been taking BP meds faithfully for 10 years and my BP is very stable, UNTIL I go to the doctor. I went for my DOT in April and my BP shot up. I had just been to my cardiologist the week before and everything was fine. The DOT doctor would not certify me and told me to go back to my cardiologist which I did. We monitored my BP for a month and it was perfect. He diagnosed me as having "white coat syndrome". He wrote me a letter stating that my BP had been monitored and that it was well within the DOT range. I took that letter to the DOT doctor and he ceritfied me for 1 year. I hate to think about going through that process eveytime I have to take a DOT physical.
