I think it's wrong for them to force this just because of a BMI or neck size. Just because it has a higher risk doesn't mean it should be forced to have a sleep study done. A person should at least show 1 symptom of having sleep apnea. It would be as if every time I went to see my primary care doctor about having a sore throat or sinus infection, he forces me to go to the cancer center for 4 hours to have a sample taken from my throat to make sure it isn't cancer because I smoke.

My last physical was done in March of 2015. It was done by Dr Sagar at the Hampton Veterans Hospital. Dr Sagar did it the right way. She simply asked me how I was sleeping and if I was waking up refreshed every morning. Then as part of my exam she looked into my throat and said everything looked good.
The thing that peeves me off is some Physicians simply call the driver a liar and will not believe them when they say they don't have sleep problems. It is a myth put out by people like this Doctor whom tell you only a sleep study will resolve the issue of if you have this or not. -

Water can and does flush the kidneys but water alone DOES NOT remove the excess sodium from the body. It is simple if you as a trucker (regardless of body weight) keeps eating processed foods you need something that will rid the blood of this excess sodium.

Is there anything that you can take that would flush out the excess sodium?
