Depends what dot doctor you go to. This is the reason i left the industry over a year ago. But i'm afraid this will be the norm in the near future
pattyj Thanks this. -
You're young. You have that going for you. Measure your neck. You want to be under 17".
Also on the Berlin test, answer no to everything. You do not snore. You have never snored. You have no clue what the word snore even means.
You'll be fine.

Depends upon the Dr. Mine said if you were above your BMI, Blood pressure, or neck size (17") they were getting the pressure to get you checked. And judging by your BMI, You are close to getting the test or finding a new carrer. Yes my lil fat ### is using the CPAP machine. IIRC the BMI cutoff is 35 BMI

Google "BMI CALCULATOR". over a certain BMI or over 17 inch neck (IIRC) you may need a sleep test. I think BMI over 35 is a trigger, IIRC.

I don't think drivers mind taking the sleep test, but they do mind paying for it.

Thats my thing i can't afford to pay the test

I took a string and measured out 17 inches then cut it off. I then wrapped that string around my neck tight just under the adams apple. I still had a few inches left, according to the online calculators for bmi I should be around 32. I don't have any issues sleeping ot waking up constantly, in fact just opposite i may lay there for an hour or so but when i do fall asleep I'm out like a light
