One time I went into a convenience store..............sorry,wrong kind of dot.

Got a roadside level two in Arizona. Stopped because one of the white upper cab reflectors had fallen off. He noted two other small issues but managed to miss one big one that I didn't notice until.I got back to El.Paso, my trailer inspection was expired.

Pulled a load out of Atlanta. Stopped at the Bama line on 20 for the night. Next morning, I step out on the big road and start rolling. Hadn't started my log. The coup was open. I tried to steer into the coup and draw in my coloring book at the same time. Couldn't do it. Dot Cop was standing outside. I tried not to look at him, but he tapped on the door and asked for my logbook.
" You didn't start your log. Go park around back, and I will be out to see you."
He took my logbook and put it on the top of his car. He then walked out and talked to the Falcon flatbed near me. Suddenly, they started yelling and arguing at each other. Dot Cop walks to me and said, " Sir, I will be with you in a minute."
He went back to his car and and got his big green and white bible, went back to the Falcon truck and they started yelling at each other again. He walks back to his car, grabs my logbook, hands it back to me and said, " Driver, get your logs caught up and have a good day."
YES!!!!!!!
he had me. I dodged a bullet that time.
