I have been lucky it seems... And tomorrow I don't even pass by any scales.
I20 westbound to Alabama gave me a green light Tuesday (that's rare...) and the eastbound house was closed when I meandered back through a couple hours later, i75 southbound from Tn wasn't even open (northbound was. Dafuq?), and like I said tomorrow I don't even pass a scale house. Not even counting the houses I've passed that were closed due to time of day or construction (looking at you i24 in Tn.).
I guess the DOT must not want those brains they were gonna buy after all?
DOT week...

MN was set up in Windom, St Cloud and Princeton. Road side checks. I made it through the first two and dodged the last one.
truckon and KenworthGuyNH Thank this. -
Nothing going on in Northern California. I go by Antelope scales on I-80 couple times a day and they were closed in both directions every time I went by.

I said I never run 55 (Bolingbrook area, IL) But leaving Joliet 80 EB was stopped. So I risked it. (Not much risk, except delaying me getting home). Sure enough the prepass was set to full red. Jerks in front of me doing 20MPH and slower when signs say maintain 30MPH!. The inroad scales are calibrated for that speed!

Also, one of my friends took a picture of that I65 SB Indiana scale. It was a party!!!!!!!! 15 DOT officers, 8 trucks in the lot, 2 trucks in the barn. Prepass set to red.
