Montana just got a new crop of recruits that graduated. They have been prowling the secondary roads and opening weigh stations that are normally closed.

 

Illinois is working 90 west to the Wisconsin line hard today with randoms.

 

That piece of paper in the windshield was probably a registration for license plates. You can use the paper until the plates show up. Northern Iowa DOT busy on side roads especially in NW corner of state, Hwys 59, 20, 30.

 

Anybody know why the Roberts scale (eastbound 94 Wisconsin) is closed every day now. Used to be open all the time.

 

I heard a super trucker paid off a congressman.

 

Was surprised to see the Ramsey MN scale on 10 open today, dot, state and two town cars in there. Got weighed and sent on my way.

 

It was open a fair amount last summer from what I heard. Keeps the concrete boys honest.

 

Why the town guys in there? Two different towns as well?

 

I have no idea. Some of the local guys claim they do a lot of training for the new inspectors at that scale. Not sure if that's true.

 

I heard it was Hazmat Safety week this week. I got a level 2 inspection yesterday in KS.
