Double Bunk Trucks

Mine didn't make me. It was my choice so I could actually get some sleep! We don't sleep well together in a Las Vegas King Size bed. Arms floppin', feet kickin', cover snatchin', flip floppin' like catfish outta water. I don't mind fightin' sleep once in a while, but I hate fighting FOR sleep!

"You can sleep with me here on your regular bunk. I'll scootch over. I don't wanna put you out."

"You're not puttin' me out a bit dear. Trust me." and I'd monkey right up to the top bunk.

"Love you. Kisses and hugs."

"Love you too. Kisses and hugs back atcha. WTF? [Weeehheehhaahh!!! - PLOP]. Found your cat."

"THERE'S my Kitty Boo-Boo. Come to Mommy!"

"Yes. Go to Mommy [grumbling] and stay outta my bunk!"

"Nothin' Honey. Just thinkin' how you're gonna get to see the Sierra Madres at sunrise tomorrow."

"Sunrise? Isn't that a bit early? There you go Boo-Boo Kitty. All settled."

"Maybe later. Just whatever whenever you wake up."

"OK Dear. You get some sleep now. Love you."

Had you posted that " Her issue is arthritis in her knees and when it flares up just the slight pressure when sleeping on her side is miserable. Sleeping on her back is the only relief and not enough room for that sharing a truck mattress in your original post instead of The head to feet bs in mid roof trucks isn't working out you might have gotten a better response.

Sorry to hear of her condition ARTHRITIS is not a good thing to suffer from.

My old company has a few double bunk Cascadias but the local drivers got most of those for some reason and the OTR guys got the midroofs. Its pretty funny to see one of those pulling a hopper bottom.

KLLM has some mid roofs for the Intermodal (which is home every night) but they don't sell well, or at all, when the time comes. They said they will not buy any more.

I can't recall many carriers using them. Mostly flatbeds...
