At the RPM you wanna upshift, clutch in - neutral - clutch out - clutch in (<--- this is the easy part, hard to fuq up, try to complete it in less than half a second) Put the stick right outside of the gear you want to go while the rpm drops, wait in a still motion................ At the right rpm just slide it into the next gear!
When I was learning, I did the clutch - neutral - wait - clutch - in gear routine before, and I suck at it... My shifting now is like clutch - neutral - clutch - wait - in gear
Try to get into a rhytham... For me, I do all the work very very quickly at the beginning, and then just wait for the right rpm, a little push and I am into the next gear...
