Double Clutching or Float at Werner

with my past two companys when you test out durning and after orientation with a insructer you double clutch. but when you was out with a trainer you could do want you want because your trainer was in the sleeper sleeping

 

My 2nd trainer with werner taught me how to float gears but the last trainer I had said that they have to teach doble clutching because they claim that floating gears was illegal. But he let me float because I could get it back in gear but he said if they were to est me not to do it. Plus they also claimed it wastes fuel to float.

 

how many hours did you have to go out with a trainer ladytrucker

 

my reason asking ive got to do 175 hours with a trainer didnt know how many trainers i would have to be with.

 

I had to do 300 but i ended up doing almost 500 because they didnt have any trucks and no openingings for solo drivers

Nope. But I liked staying the extra hours with my last trainer and he had went back and taught me what I was supposed to know because my previous 2 trainers didnt teach me anything. It was either stay with my trainer until something became avaible and I would still get paid training pay or go home but I wouldnt get paid and they didnt know when something would open so I stayed wih my trainer.

Im not with a company now but I plan to try with another company but because of my age its been kinda hard but I at least got a year in with werner.
