Double Left Turns

That driver started his turn WAY too soon!!! At least he checked his mirror and got stopped in time.

 

I don't think the vehicle in the left lane is a big truck, so not in the wrong lane. The truck in the right lane started his turn way too early, appears that he had lots of room in front of him to go wide and maintain his lane...

 

Check the pavement arrows and the signs on pole across the street, it is a double left turn. So trucker was permitted to turn from the second lane.
But yes, he had lots of room to go wide on that one.
We have a similar one on west side of Saskatoon. I can stay in my lane pulling two trailers, yet lots of guys don’t even try to stay in their lane. Heck some even try from the left of two lanes, but the concrete median on the other end of the turn makes that not possible.

 

He, Scottie would lose this one. The manual says to make a left from the outer lane. We, who argued the same for right turns, argued that a right was just like a left. He argued that it doesn't say that. He's right, that's our interreptation. Here, it does say it explicitly. He can't argue against the manual!

 

I don't think he has won in any of the videos he's posted, due to the fact that in each case he's just as guilty because he's distracted driving. Looking to get video footage.

 

Just seems like a double stooge to me. Big truck not holding his lane/scanning his mirrors, and standard 4 wheeler probably texting going to zoom inside of him.
Yawn.
