    I wouldn't bother with his Forum trying to contact him that way...He's rarely on there anymore..Just too busy repairing and selling radios to get on the Forum...

    I recently got a mirage mx36hp from doug, this radio kicks ###.
    The day I removed my stock cobra & installed this was like night & day.
    I was hearing contacts from over 10 miles away & able to respond clearly back to them.
    Heard lots of skip talk that day when I installed it, im from SLC UT & could hear stations out of Houston TX
    Tried switching back to cobra & nothing.
    Doug added the recieve mod to this radio as well as peak & tune..
    Am I happy......... Hell Yeah!!!!!!!!
