downshifting an 8 speed freightliner

Ahh, thanks for letting me in on that info. I wasn't sure if the DMV changed anything else this month other than the skills test. I just want to make sure I don't goof up for something silly.

edit - Do you know what maneuvers they usually make people perform during the skill test? I was told this month they want schools to teach students 6 skills and the tester chooses 3 at random. My instructor said they usually do the straight back, the alley dock, and the offset backing to either side. Is this true?

 

We had to do all 6 . 2free get out and look and 2 free pull ups. It was snowing and wind at 60.good day for dot to stand there and watch.

 

In Florida:
1. Straight line back
2. Offset back (left or right)
3. One of the below:
- alley dock
- blind side parallel
- sight side parallel

3 maneuvers altogether. The second and third are chosen by computer (at least this is what I was told).
