Make sure you coat walls and bottom with calcium in sub 32degree weather or youll be digging for hours trust me on that one im pulling a dump wagon now also mac barrel bodies are alright but easts are built better only advantage of the macs is they are a little lighter but they sacrifice stability.also make sure you dump air bags on both tractor and trailer.

man. if yours is an aluminum end dump,i bet hauling scrap was tearing it up. i know it did the frameless spread that i did pull.that is what i like the most pulling this steel end dump-the idiot loaders that drop scrap from way above to help pack it in don't bother me anymore.it just knocks the mud off of it.that aluminum had holes punched thru it and got wavy and eventually got so bad that the material had difficult time sliding out.
yeah some scrap is less harsh than others but it seems as if i got my share of the torch steel or t&s or whatever.poor floor and sides of that aluminum dump. the broker still uses it though. -
It's steel. But not a high cube, made by Schaller.

Keep them handy as hopper bottoms are our main source of revenue at this time. Lol
