Say what you want. I'll sleep just fine tonight. You can whine till the next Mayan Apocalypse. You took my comment totally out of context and put your own negative spin on it. If you think being a tech at any dealership is a guaranteed gold mine, I suggest you hang up your keys and buy a tool box instead.

That's right, I AM HERE TO HELP YOU!!! I don't make any money doing this. I use my own personal time. I'm not here to maliciously cost you guys money. I know how expensive this stuff is to maintain. I know you guys need help. Sorry, I am not here to give advise on how to break the law. I don't care how stupid you think the emission laws are. I think they are stupid too. I'm on the legal-way-of-doing-things side of the fence. Don't like that, that is your problem. To be honest, most of the work we do is under warranty. Most of the jobs we do only pays a set rate. Hardly ever make time on them. We don't make money hand over fist like you think. I can make way more money working in other areas of the transportation industry as diesel tech, maybe I should! I am just as mad at the oems as you are. I think the real blame goes on who ever set the emission tear levels and the years they come into effect. The levels are too demanding and too close together. OEMs had to scramble to get engines to be compliant with minimal field testing. Friendly serviceability and low cost of ownership where never on the table of things to consider. They simply never had the time to test and develop. I don't know what to tell you man. If you hate the industry that much you really need to consider doing something else.
P.S. How did you not watch the A-Team? That was the best show!

A-Team was great but that new movie was pretty stupid. (I heard mr t refused to appear in it unless they gave him the role as BA, which they didn't. I'm glad he wasn't in it because I hated it.) Anyway like you were saying...I don't have anything against the environment but I wish they would test these things more before they put them on our trucks. :) Mine is a 2009 and I heard 2010s run okay.... Anyway i hope you guys will be all be friends! :) I definitely understand his frustration because I've had my truck into many places and they all give me a different story but the bottom line is there's nothing they can do, take it somewhere else! :) anyway thanks again for all the help!
