The issue is if he decides to roll into a snowflake state. NJ, NY, and CA dot will definitely hassle you for it. Not sure about the other states but I know those 3 will be hounding you if they find out the truck is deleted. NJ in particular I’m very positive will force you to either fix it or scrap it.

Its not just a mixture of urea and water... Much more has to happen otherwise the urea will fall out of suspension. I believe it under goes some sort of chemical reaction durimg manufacture.Ffx95 Thanks this. -
All states can fine you for this, in fact they recently busted people in Michigan for deleting trucks. As stated don't think dot would bust ya but I imagine if they do probably be a fix it ticket then dot might dig in and investigate the company further.
But I would bounce if I were you, deleting dpf just makes life more difficult
