    hey all.... just wanted to give you an update....so 8 days at Peterbilt for what should have been an 4 day max job and $2900 bill from them. I will be talking to the service manager because there is a definite problem with communication there. Can't wait to see the breakdown on the bill........

    actually they sent the DPF out to be cleaned, replaced a cracked exhaust pipe and replaced the ARD Head.... I was also told about some sensor box so I have to see what all is on the bill

    I watched a video on YouTube the user I think is grape ape. He talks about cat motors and one video he says the ard heads last about 1 year and they are not cheap to replace by design.
    I still recommend selling the truck if you can get out of it. I would highly recommend the illegal option if you keep it. It is a nightmare.

    yes I asked the stealership what they are seeing as far as replacing ard heads and they said about every year. this one was replaced this past February by the previous truck owner. It was covered under warranty!!! yippee for me....thanks I will look on you tube for grape ape. I will also see what my options are for selling or illegal. nice chatting with you gokiddogo
