    Anyone ever hear of aaid fellow....On a fb thread he has built 3 supposed great antenna.....No details yet other than it tunes to a 1:1 and we all know my thoughts useing swr to gauge ant performance....This pic ill post also has a unique mount to...So feel free to fess up any details if you know any..Comments are also welcomed...     Dr Bombay was a character that occasionally appeared on Bewitched if I remember correctly. I think it may have been an English guy, Bernard Fox, who played Malcolm Merriweather on The Andy Griffith Show.

    That is an interesting idea. I’m not sure how effecient that antenna would be performance wise. The bad thing is that the mount looks awful close to the door. If there’s any movement due to wind, it could scratch the paint.

    Looks like all it is a element off a beam converted into a mobile antenna...one good whack by a tree branch and it would be done.
