    I had a dual coil predator 10k on the Volvo mirror, grounded to a door bolt from the mirror. I guarantee this antenna wouldn’t outperform it. And it does look like something off a beam.

    That's not one of my antennas, but it looks like whoever that guy is happens to be on the right track. It kind of looks like a j-pole antenna

    It's nothing that I made but I'd be curious to see how well it works and if it worked really well I'd try building something similar.
