Please let me know where you are when you do this. That way I can be 5 states away.

    NO ALCOHOL IN THE TRUCK!

This should be common effing sense. The two do NOT go together. That is like asking "Gee can I drink a beer in your airplane?"

If you feel the laws are ridiculous and just have to have a beer, find an hourly job.At least you'll have lots of time to drink a few brewsky's afer work.Besides law or no law its also company policy.Far as your reset, who says you can't ,just don't drink in your trk and you can always take a taxi to the bar.Do you realize how easy it would be for truckers to drink and drive if they were allowed to keep alcohol in their cab?

I think the law is 12 hours. But I could be confusing FAR and FMCSR

I confused the waiting 24 hours with the being shut down 24 hours for any traceable amount in your system
