    The more I did it the easier it became. Putting 100% into the rehab from the get go was the key for me. It's tough at first because of the pain, but the pain isn't from the joints anymore but from where they did the cutting. I pushed myself to get off of the walker within the first week and then concentrated of walking and stair climbing. It's been over 5 years now since my first hip and I get around better now at age 71 then I did when I was 60.
