Now DOT is starting to go by the letter of the law and you can have nothing on your windshield lower than 6 inches from the top, or in the plain of the wipers.

This really is getting silly. Except it gives you a violation and costs you money.

But really folks, it's getting just silly.

Wouldn't want it in a place that obstructs the view of the hood. There could be a car or pedestrian there.

They worry about that, but they don't bat an eye when Supertrucker Bob has half a rainforest worth of paper and McDonald's wrappers from last weeks 34 spread across the dash of his white Volvo.

It's just getting out of control. Anything to protect the Criminally Insane four wheelers.

Guess have to mount one professionally up in the top near the split.

Lots of papers on the dash show a hard working trucker. Junk food etc is filthy and nasty.

I had a trainer years ago who was very difficult with even a single piece of anything on his truck on the dash or on the floor. I finally adopted his ways as mine. We met up later in Harrisburg 76 one time after fueling etc and I had a couple of papers on the dash. Caught some hell for it (With a smile...)

Considering other things that end up on dash like cats and egg carton plant raising etc.... lucky dam cat... ha. All that sun.
