Water works its way in. No grease to push it out, seal probably died a few thousand miles ago. Lucky..we get salt and brine water up here to make life interesting.snowman_w900, Tug Toy and whoopNride Thank this.

I got that seal at a aftermarket truck parts place, just refill behind it with grease as per mfg recommendations.
