I run nothing but the x-energy-d’s. A good balance between wear, excellent grip on snow and ice, and fuel economy. Longevity is on par, and we’ve never had uneven wear (but I always add beads). I don’t know if there’s another tire that checks all those boxes.

for steers pay 50 bucks more for 16 ply load range H vs 14 ply load range G, when you turn the wheel they don't have to fold in half before the truck starts to change direction, $1500 for a set of the most essential important component of rig control/safety, don't skimp on steers. also don't hop curbs with hot tiresthey come apart like biscuits
