Depending on size you probably got a better chance of hitting the lottery than finding a set of Michelin’s .

I just got a set of 275-80R22.5 X-Line Energy D's installed literally an hour ago. TA Rawlins Wyoming had like 17 of them, and it was the first place I called.

I don't think they are particularly rare. Maybe I got lucky.

I run nothing but the x-energy-d’s. A good balance between wear, excellent grip on snow and ice, and fuel economy. Longevity is on par, and we’ve never had uneven wear (but I always add beads). I don’t know if there’s another tire that checks all those boxes.
For us, running the PNW, the winter traction is what really cinches the deal.

Michelin use way more silica in the external rubber compound, like oakley ear sock unobtanium, it "gets stickier when it gets wet", sticks to wet and ice road like voodoo, and the Michelin casings are stiff AF.

for steers pay 50 bucks more for 16 ply load range H vs 14 ply load range G, when you turn the wheel they don't have to fold in half before the truck starts to change direction, $1500 for a set of the most essential important component of rig control/safety, don't skimp on steers. also don't hop curbs with hot tires  they come apart like biscuits
