There is no way that "just rolled ahead" when the driver set the brakes. None.
tinytim Thanks this. -
I will be getting rid of this account and selling the truck. It's not profitable at all and these things are a major loss.

What do you have to say about all that snow?
-
I say the driver wasn't paying attention and drove into the scraper. It is evident that there is snow on the ground (and, yes, it's a big pile of snow... a big, obvious pile), so the clearance would be a concern. The scraper is height-adjustable, you can even see the switch for it in the last picture. The driver was careless. I wouldn't necessarily fire him for the accident, but I would for lying to me.gokiddogo Thanks this.

The scrapers are adjustable. Not all fifth wheels sit at the same height. Snow build up on the ground. Driver error.
Still don't think you should pay more than the deductible.not4hire Thanks this. -
I thibk it should be 50/50. The owner of the scraper and yard should be responsible for keeping the ground clean from snow and leveled.

Wow. A whole new roof for a ding in the front. Totally unnecessary.
-
I cant eat all of the 6500.
-
That's a little more than a ding and, the driver did more than "roll" under it. While some damage is expected with pool trailers that is totally your drivers fault.
