you make 3 years sound like a lifetime.LOL. Now back to your violation, your truck is gov. right, but if you are going on a downhill your truck will gain 3-5 more MPH. Good Luck in court. Its possible you can beat it.

Just go to court. I had never gotten a speeding ticket before a few months ago. I got nailed for 74 in a 55, officer wrote me for 65 in a 55. I went to court, he didnt show up and they dismissed it. I never just pay a ticket, if you are really worried about it get yourself a lawyer.

Call the officer who wrote you the ticket everyday for a week straight. The one or two times hes not there are probably his scheduled days off. Request your lawyer to file a motion to get the court date to be moved to one of his off days and he probably wont show up on his off day. Dismissed..

I doubt a prosecutor will be involved in your case. I bet the judge understands how a truck can speed up with the size and the weight, if not, I can just about guarentee the officer does. If you were shot on laser, good luck with that as laser is vehicle specific.

Good luck with that. They only schedule "my " court on "my" court days, not a defendants. If not the overtime is nice, why I love going to court. :biggrin_25525:

    Outstanding.

I broke the law but I DO NOT WANT TO FACE THE CONSEQUENCES FOR MY ACTIONS.

    Got to love it.

What we need is to start suspending license privileges when caught speeding. Think you could follow the law then?

It is not about prefection or imperfection. It is about accepting the consequences of you actions and decisions. Most are taught their are no consequences for their behaviour, and then turn into petulant children when punished.

They will seek comfort from their ilk to assuage the anxiety being caught brings them. They will plan fanciful tactics to avoid their punishment. Their ilk will assist them in fending off the feeling by assuring they are in the right.

You admit to violating the law. You should be a man and accept your punishment.
Sadly there are few men left in the world.
