Not at all, get into an accident and see who gets sued.

    It is all entities involved.

    Call a spade a spade.

There is NO reason and NO benefit to work or continue to work for a company that deploys these things. There is no clearer indicator that they do not give a #### about you, you are disposable, and that they are ready to throw you under the bus at a moment's notice.

    Simple as that.

The camera is not their to help the driver. Say you have your Bluetooth headset on and talking on phone. You get involved in accident. The bluetooth is legal. If they see on the camera you are distracted talking. Even If it the accident is not you fault they could hold you or your trucking company part responsible. From what I have been told the law does not say if somsome else caused the accident they are 100% response now. You can be held responsible for say 10% or 50%. You could be talking on phone with Bluetooth but miss an opportunity to avoid an accident because you were on the Bluetooth. So now you are 25% responsible.

@Humblepie and @snowman_w900 have both been exonerated in court using a driver facing cam. The police officer wrote Snowman a citation for playing a Ukelele while driving, and he was able to prove it was a mini banjo with his video.

A state trooper cited Humble for playing Words with Friends while driving. When Humble introduced video proof that he was on Elogs, the judge ruled that he was extremely safe.

The judge also commended me for taking steps to protect the motoring public and for doing my part in changing the image of the American trucker.

Once the court heard my cover of dueling banjos via camera footage, they immediately moved to dismiss the case. The officer that wrote the citation was given 2 weeks suspension without pay.

Dam camera saved my career(s) fo shore.

I tried that, but the office staff started using my pictures to catfish people. Then one day out of the blue Dr. Phil calls me up want wants to know if I have been emailing this gal called big Red. I had not, but it didn’t matter. Her old man @MagnumaMoose found out and chased me all the way through Arkansas one night.
