Maybe the driver also doesn't like working for inefficient companies?

Please enlighten on the "inefficient companies " cuz if you're talking about Millis you really have no clue what you're talking about.

On what planet is purchasing/installing cameras that don't take any pictures efficient? That's all I meant. I realize it's based on a faulty assumption.

It's admittedly difficult to object if all Millis truly ever does with those cameras is use them like black boxes. In that case kudos to Millis for respecting driver privacy. The camera could even theoretically work in the driver's favor if it records things that prove they weren't at fault in an accident. The only hitch is the driver has to trust company management to not lie/spy.

Given the choice I'd choose no camera at all, but I don't see this as something to condemn Millis for doing. Thanks for telling us about it.

The cameras are still being used. They still have the forward facing cam active which like you said can help drivers in an accident. Also I've got black tape over the lens facing the inside of the truck so there is noway they can spy on me(not that I have any reason to believe they would). But they are still getting use out of the cameras they just arent using all of its functions.

Mathmatrucker - Read this earlier post in addition to keen98's last post above this. Both of you're questions are answered between both posts.

Not in general. However, would you want your child or grandchild looking over your shoulder and reading foul language? Would you want to read it if you were a religious person? The reasons behind blocking certain words is really no different than the forums policy on pornography. Besides, we hear enough language like that at the dinner counter and on the CB. No need for it here too. JMO

Good. Most people can express themselves without resorting to vulgarity and profanity.
We're glad that you're one of them.
