I have to G.O.A.L. just to open my doors:dontknow:would I do it with a roll up? lets just learn from this unfortunate mistake rather than point fingers. Some drivers I've seen could use the excercise anyway

    TruckingSurveyor and BossOutlaw88 Thank this.

She could have had either type trailer, although most likely she had a roll up door.

Well speaking from experience......never crushing anyone but came close a couple times......try backing in at the Produce market in McAllen,Tx when all hells breaking loose there......you always have to be vigilant when backing up anywhere....I don't always follow safety protocol, like GOAL...etc.....but yes you will at some point have to get out and open those doors.....so this yahoo musta thought he could get past her before she bumped the dock......crappy situation for everyone involved

Some docks are set up to where even with swing doors, they get opened from inside.

I can say every time I approached a dock I will scope all 4 sides out as I'm coming in to set up to back. Then of course we open the doors and you take another look. If it's pitch dark it's dark. Nobody goes back there with a flashlight.

I was just reacting to the lady saying she done everything she could of which was a false statement. When you are a regular at something sometimes one gets too comfortable with the routine.
