I just got the same message.
I'm wondering what they are going to do with miles. Will it be a new Plus-2 program that will be even more stupid than Plus-1?
I am looking forward to a raise, though. That'll be nice.
I'm also curious about the improved home time. Mine is fine as it is, but I wonder if places like Phoenix will lighten up.
Driver raises may be coming....

I haven't seen anything on my Qualcomm about the new plan today.
-
What is the current beginning and finishing pay scale at Swift? There are trucking companies that pay HHG miles instead of hub miles or practical miles? Is this a good pay system?
-
The one on the QUALCOMM today was for company drivers; ours hasn't been announced yet.

Qualcomm message only noted that there is a new package. You need to talk to your DM for details.

My DM went through it with me, but I've already forgotten most of the numbers.
But...
I have 3.5 years in and my base cpm is/was .33.
I'll be getting 37.5 now.
That is a pretty nice raise for the base pay.
Whereas before the cutoff for mileage was 300 miles (loads 300 miles and above were paid at the base pay, and the sliding scale increased cpm with lower mileage loads), it is now 500 miles.
Every 100 mile increment lower gets an even greater increase than before, topping out at .61 cpm for loads under 100 miles. (the $25 short haul pay is still there, too)
I'm not sure how seniority works with all of this, but those are some of the numbers my DM laid out for mine.
It is a very serious jump in the pay scale, IMO.Lepton1 Thanks this. -
Talked to my DM this morning and she does not know as far as L/O yet. They will know about 2 days before they tell us.

When I talked to a Swift recruiter a few weeks ago, they had me starting out at $.28cpm. I heard about the pay raise and just thought I'd ask what it was now, she told me it's $.33cpm now.
