Is that titled? Or registered? Because I have an old truck in my garage awaiting me to find the time/money/motivation that I hold a valid title to...but hasn't been registered nor insured in 14 years. I understand requiring insurance on registered vehicles. You can hold title to a vehicle that never sees the road. My neighbor has a few mud trucks...trailers them to private property to play, then trailers them home. The farm has a few, too, used exclusively on farm property. Not registered, not insured, but titled by the owner. Requiring insurance on all titled vehicles leads people to not seek titles for their toys, which would create problems for the seller...who according to state records still holds the title.
