We have safety meetings monthly, if you don't attend in person they must be made up. Watch the videos and do the test.
We do mega meetings biannually that are mandatory and a two day training course every other year to recertify our hazmat company credentials and retake Smith system. If not completed you can't work.

Also have special meetings depending on issues addressed and a once a year hearing test done over 2 days on site.

We are fond of saying the only thing that actually come out of our monthly safety meetings are empty pizza boxes.

We did breakfasts and scheduled a Saturday when the Owner Operator settlements were supposed to be given out the following Monday and gave out settlement checks/statements at the conclusion of the meeting; a good incentive.

your famous 1099 Chicagoland companies made a big stink about these safety meetings, most our waste of a good couple of hours. Orientation classes should satisfy these needs so you don't need to waste a day on that crap
