I read the article bellow this week, i don't know what's the situation in other provinces , perhaps are going to follow.

"The government added it will also close an existing loophole that allows people with no legal right to work in Canada to obtain a commercial driver’s licence while visiting Canada. Under these changes, only people legally entitled to work in Ontario will be able to obtain a trucking licence."

There should be a plan to downgrade all the commercial licenses in the hands of those not legal to work in Canada. Too many "int'l students" in big trucks causing carnage on the highways.
