Like I said I meet the drivers every day and none came that way so I think the offer to give a guy off the street a class one license is hooey from hr. And btw knock the attitude off you wouldn't talk to someones face that way why would you do it here?

my info is not from hr. its from the students themselves, vp operations for western canada, and the instructors. if all 3 are giving me consistant info, who am i to say they are wrong. i am just trying to help some one get their license without paying $5000.00 to $8000.00 or whatever it costs. so what if you have to work 6 months before your getting it. your making a living and the company is paying for it. as for saying it face to face, your right, because i would just walk away from people that were not there when i was told that and yet are calling me a lier..

I'd enjoy hearing what a typical day is like for you at this stage if you'd like to share...

since i'm new to the company i don't know what a typical day is like. all i've done is work around the shop for about a week, sit in a classroom in red deer upgrading some courses, doing some practice rig ins with 2 & 3 inch pipe. and some driving. was hoping to get more live experience but will happen this week i hope. safety is so important here, i guess they want you to feel confident about rigging in before they get you to work with the pressure. it's way differant than working with the vac or water trucks that i did in the past.

    cariboo_kid Thanks this.
