Like I said, I would never play this trick on someone I didn't know or if I knew it would cause them to be late. That could create a very bad situation real quick. So yes, I understand your point of view. As for that driver that "knew it all," it wasn't his truck. It was a company truck. I would never do anything to cause damage to anyone's truck. The quarter obstruction is just a harmless prank.

Hubbard, OH....Truck World. Back in the day when the Bar in there was a HELL of a lot better n now, we used to spend the entire night on Sat, and go out to the trucks to sleep it off.
    1) Wrapped my buddy's entire cab in shrink wrap....the kind on tubes they use on the machines for pallets. 3 rolls around the truck n sleeper.

    2) had just gotten my train horns at Wildwood, FL the week before. Paid $950 for a set of REAL 5 trumpet train horns. Up at Hubbard the next week. Stumble out to the trucks, my buddies say "let's hear them horns!" so, I drop my trailer, pull about 10' out from my buddies hood facing him. Hit his cab with my handheld 2 million power spot lamp, and laid on the train horns! Only time in my life I can say I pissed myself I laughed so hard!

The problem with the quarter trick in the glad hand is most of the dumb ***** that will pull a moron stunt like that are to ****** dumb know which one does what. I had somebody pull that on me once. The guy who done it never fessed up for fear of his life. Think how pissed off you would be after you just ran a stoplight due to not having trailer brakes. And then find a quarter in your BLUE air line.

Dumdriver, Flipflops and taxihacker66 Thank this.

Back when I ran flatbed, I left my steel toes in the truck and just wore regular shoes home. While I was on vacation, a buddy shrink wrapped my boots into a ball and then melted the top layers together with a torch.
