I don't know why nobody mentioned Doug...he was the funniest guy there and got the stories. I had a lot of fun there, just got out and if all goes well I'll be working for System.

 

I'll be heading there myself on the 29th of this month. Barely missed going next week, I had a recruiter take forever getting back to me, but it's all good I guess, I'll have plenty of time to study up and hang out at a truckstop pestering crusty old guys

 

Made it through DTS and passed my road test last Wednesday. DTS is something else. If your feelings get hurt real easy then your going to have hurt feelings!! LOL The instructors were great. All truck drivers. They all told us the same thing, 'if you listen I will teach you". Those of us that listened made it and those that didn't dropped out. My instructors were, Pat, Doug, Jim, Denny, C.D., David, Fritz and Paul. Barbara and Lana are in the office. The instructors are a blast and extremely funny. I was fortunate to have great classmates and we bounced things off of each other and helped each out all we could. Kind of amazing the transformation that we went through in one month. Any way DTS is a great school in my opinion. I go to orientation next week at System Transport then out on the road.
