The way that works or they technically rent the truck to you, they just take their cut from your earnings and you get left with whatever scraps they gave you.

Nothing wrong with a 1099 job, in fact you might make more writing off more with your taxes. BUT… you need to be extremely diligent and put money away monthly or start making monthly payments to the IRS so at Tax Time they’re not after your kneecaps. Talk to some other guys there and it should be easy to figure out how much you’ll owe at the end of the year.

Let's see. Working for a company that even before hiring you is telling you they don't care about the law. It's not rocket surgery you know.
Why would you believe that they care about any other laws like hos, maintenance, or even paying you.
