Woosh. You replied to the guy saying some dad was going to try to off a CEO or the like eventually because his device contributed to their deaths in the guys mind.

Some dad who just lost his kids or family is not going to be thinking rationally and is going to assign blame where he can. If he goes far enough over the edge he may try to put a blade in some CEOs throat.

Watched an IG video of a guy in auto drive going 65mph. The car couldn’t negotiate a construction zone and was headed for the barricade at full speed. It went to manual a few seconds before hitting the barricade and then driver grabbed the wheel and straighten it out. A loooonnnggg way to go before driverless vehicles take over.

Spraying water on the battery packs made them burn even more. Foam or Oxygen depleting fog is about the only way to put them out.

Their spouses will still get a decent payout despite user stupidity

Two men killed in Tesla car crash 'without driver' in seat
According to this article, there was no driver in the driver's seat when the vehicle didn't follow the road curvature and hit the tree. It's going to be hard to get Tesla to pay any damages to the family. But based on the televised impeachment (TWICE !) of the previous president, anything is possible.
P.S. I hear that lithium battery fires are very hard to extinguish. My friend just got a model Y, and the insurance for it is the same or even lower than a same-value ICE vehicle. I guess insurance companies finally figured out their risks with Teslas. Chance of car hijacking (Teslas have the best camera and alarm systems in my opinion) vs other risks must be lower than they expected initially.

Google Dawn Spencer-Smith she thought cruise control was auto pilot on her rv lol PS Electric formula race cars can only race at tracks with the proper equipment and training to fight battery fires. A local volunteer fire department won’t have the equipment.
