And yet, spraying water on batteries is exactly what Tesla says to do in a battery fire. I think they might know what to do better than a random person on the internet.

Tesla trains firefighters how to put out its battery fires is the best I can find right now, but the guide is still current (at least before this fire anyway)

Read my post again there is a difference a big one
To be able to drive roadtrains like in Australia
First you need long straight roads not happening here , second changing infrastructure roads way more expensive that simply teaching robot "follow trailer ahead of you"

From one city to the next, say Minneapolis to Kansas City, or Kansas City to Denver, it'd be pretty simple to run triple 53s, your average driver wouldn't be doing it but it could be done. All it'd take is a yard 30 miles out to run them into and a few drivers to take them the rest of the way. With a separate tractor on each one you're now going to end up with enough space to get some genius in between them and your follower will lose it's ####. What you're saying would work, if that one bozo would realize getting between there makes him the meat in an 18 wheeler sandwich.

    Also
We need to get “ there “ but it also took us what? 150 years to get here?
We can expect to reverse it in a 5 year window
Let’s back troll for a decade or two and then reassess

Eventually there will be remote drivers for semis like drone pilots in the military And of course to cut costs there will be one 18yr old with multiple screens drinking Red Bull making minimum wage.

I have posted this before and agree
Look at what they’re doing with airport towers being managed offsite

    Linte_Loco Thanks this.
