Driverless Tesla Car crashes killing two

It is kind of funny. What exactly is the point of a "self driving" car that you have to pay the same attention to as one you're driving? Wouldn't that little detail make this also an accident caused by human error? If you're brilliant enough to put your car in self driving mode, and then get in the backseat, I only hope you don't kill any innocent bystanders.

 

I can't wait for driverless school buses and pilotless planes.

 

Most modern planes are pilotless. The only reason for the pilot is unions and to make the passengers feel better.

 

I've yet to see a passenger jet minus a pilot and co-pilot. The technology might be present to enable autonomous flight, but someone is always manning the ####pit (woke feminists are really going to come after me for that one).


Let's use logic and think this out a bit: if there are no pilots to fly a plane, then who is going to become inebriated at the airport lounge prior to takeoff?

No, but then I bet you haven't flown an Airbus A350 either, which has the capability I mentioned. That's why I said modern aircraft. Your average Cessna doesn't sure, but even a brand new Cessna isn't a modern plane.

 

Not talking about a Cessna. There is a ####pit for a reason.
Nothing is better than the old fashioned Mk1 mod 0 human eyeball. It still works when the power goes out or the manure hits the fan.
