There's no comparison between those two people you mentioned.. If I had to choose one I would recommend that you go see Ray down south.

I am curious about this Bob's shop.
I just found his page on the web.
It says he was making CB radios in the 70s in Lincoln. Now he is in Northern Crashville the last 2 weeks of the month?
And he has a special ocilos ocilascope?

He claims to have been in business since 1969 but he looks like he's 50 years old so I don't really know what the deal is with him other than I've seen a bunch of his work and it's very inconsistent since he doesn't have a scope or know how to use one. Used to have a guy working for him that did really good work but he ended up firing the guy when he caught him stealing. If you want a more accurate evaluation of his work you can talk to David Bupp at dtb radio since he sees a bunch of Bob's work. Personally Dave is the only guy in Pennsylvania that I would recommend even though he's got that Megan's Law conviction on his record. Even if he's attracted to small children it still doesn't negate the fact that he is technically proficient at what he does, unlike 99% of the people that claim to be technically proficient.

The flat lines are usually caused by insufficient bias of the finals. They just need to be re-adjusted to manufacture specs.

It's unfortunate that somebody paid extra money for the flat lines since they weren't there direct from the manufacturer.

I don't think it will fit in the overhead radio slot.
