Sorry to kick a dead thread but i recently started using the DDL program and have some questions. Is there a guide anywhere on how to use this program? the website is minimal at best. I need stuff like what all the buttons do, what all the menus do, tips, stuff like that. stuff like "when do i use the new data button?" or "when should i "close" something? or all the options under the Settings button.
Any help would be great. My trainer showed me this proram but he really didnt know a whole lot about it. Thanks in advance for helping out a new driver.

Guys; aside from being tired (o I haven't read all the post); but can this software be used in other countries as well?
I wouldn't mind using it down here, it gives another reason for my laptop other then music and web-surfing (and movies.. no porn) -
Go to their website and ask the question to them.
They have a canadian version and US is all that I know. -
I do know the rules are set for both the USA and Canada.

Haven't read all of the post but in the beginning ones that I did read many mention printing your logs to sign them. FYI if you scan your signature and it will be on your logs on screen

It shows you have not read all posts !
Been using DDL for years and it's a great program !
However, YOU MUST HAVE A PRINTER IN THE TRUCK to be legal using it ! -
Keep in mind there are printers out there that are the size of pencil cases need no external power and print full size! I know I have one! I managed to put a laptop, printer and scanner/fax into a briefcase. Its sure is a space saver!

What brand was the printer/scanner/fax?
-
as company driver wich version would be the best? lite or full?
-
For a company driver the lite is all you need.
