I wear old leather dress shoes with no socks, lots of gold jewelry, a stained polo shirt, pajama pants, bollywood sunglasses, and sit in the fuel island for my half break every time I finish fueling .

I care more about how they drive them what they look like to be honest. Like last night while I was in the sleeper berth a guy who spoke no English wore flip-flops and had more duct tape then fiberglass on his old beat up truck in a wide-open parking lot with wide-open parking spaces managed to take half of my front end off my truck. Oh, and of course he was from Chicago. Look like whatever you want, BUT KNOW HOW TO DRIVE PLEASE!!!!!

I’ll just someone’s competence on how they look, just not their character… I’ve meet some seriously good people that didn’t look the part at all. You wear flip flops? Dollars to donuts you can’t shift a manual transmission smoothly. Just my humble opinion………………..

If you’ve ever seen me at the end of running coast to coast reefer for three weeks straight you might not recognize me as the same person on my first day back to the yard. Lol

A couple days without a shower and my comb that the bunk seems to of eaten and I can’t find and I probably don’t look the part either. But I promise I can still drive that truck. Lol

Joe Montana and Jerry Rice (2 of the best players to ever play american football) would meticulously dress in front of a mirror before every game.

Their thinking was, if you look good, you play good. i.e. if you look like a professional you play/drive like a professional.

    Play good.

If a lot of today's drivers took the time to dress neat and clean our impression to everyone would be different. It isn't hard to shower, brush your teeth, comb your hair, put on clean clothes and boots. No way should anyone go more than 2 days without a shower, not brush teeth and hair, filthy clothes and shirts that do not cover your "bread basket " and no way a pair of clogs or saddles. It should be a matter of pride.
