I see a lot of drivers at truck stops go back in to the sleeper in 87F+ in direct sun light and stay there with no idle and no APU. What am I not seeing here?

I recently moved back from FL. That Pilot, in Fort Myers, had drivers stuck there for days and one was stuck there for a week, I can remember. How they can stay in a truck, all day and night, without idling, I have no idea. I guess, they’re just struggling too bad to do anything else. It’s a tough deal.

Perhaps because drivers are being treated by some in this industry like subhuman pieces of meat? Because many drivers have no choice, complain and they risk losing their jobs?

Our trucks can go 77 if we keep idle % under 30. I get motel rooms, so I don't lose my speed lol
