That almost happened to me the other day on the satellite pump. My standard procedure tho is to put the nozzle in the tank then turn the pump on so I caught it before it caught me. I used to use the bungee straps to hold the pump down while fueling when I had a Freightliner but there's no way to do it with these ProStars as it's surrounded by fiberglass.![]()

You would think they could design a tank filler neck that will not let the nozzle jump out of the tank, most trucks are very poor design and nozzle always wants to fall out.
Here in canada we can only fuel one side at a time, satellite pump will not work at same time as main, and vice versa, its law, i guess so we watch each side in case it falls out. -
Still I think the Volvo set up is the worst, guys have to crawl under the fairings to get to the tank neck.
