    I don't worry about that.

used to endure questions from the Miltiary Depot Gaurds.. are your eyes brown? What? you special stupid soldier? my eyes are blue. Sargeant yells at me to settle down and behave. lol.

9-11 changed a whole lot of things.

And at the same time 9-11 really did not change that much, you can still put together a proper and big attack against the USA in the future. The big thing is we must not exchange freedom for security because then we neither have freedom or security and do not deserve either.

I quit stressing about security. Frankly if anyone is that interested in little boring me in real life at home, (Example I drive my vehicle once or twice every 5 months and only in town...) they would have to be absolutely out of other much more exciting assignments as far as security goes. They would be bored to tears watching me lol. (Or they can read my inflammatory postings he he he...)

I quit letting someone hold my license when a shipper lost mine for 45 minutes once. They found it under the desk along the back wall. Here on out I give my twic card. If they want to see I have a cdl, it'll be in my hands only

Fake IDs are cheap enough, so I've heard.

I regularly go to customers that require seeing my driver's license. Some simply note the license number and expiration date, others make a photocopy.

These are customers that have Hazmat on site. However, due to cargo theft more companies are implementing this safety check. This prevents a thief from driving into a facility with inside knowledge of a shipment, getting loaded, then disappearing with the load after they leave the facility. These shippers will already have your truck number and name, so they are checking your identity against their list. This is now common for high dollar value loads, like electronics.
