I look at all these things as tools for my use. I drive otr, so I'm often going places I've never been. I use them all, trust none. I trust myself, that's it. I'll look at my Qualcomm, my phone GPS (strictly auto) my RM atlas, and my new Smart Truck Route software (scales, truck stops, more, very useful for planning) on my new tablet. I've learned that Google Maps will give me a visual of my shipper/receivers place of business, and I can go to street view and actually see the entrance. Usually. So all the tools add up pretty well, but there's still no substitute for common sense and focus.

For my speed mainly I drive a old truck and no matter how many times I calibrate my truck speedo it ends up off
