I was recently greasing up truck and when I got back to house after driving it, I noticed grease on airbags and on the ground.. I assume that is normal when you fill it with new grease. but here is a pic of rear of driveshaft. it's first peterbilt I owned and just making sure its normal.

How much did you pump in there?
Yes its normal for the slip yokes and u-joints to sling a little grease. Looks like you might have put a little much in there though. Better than undergreasing at least.spsauerland Thanks this. -
I filled it till I saw just a little coming out, since I wasn't sure when last time it was greased, I thought it was ok as you said better to have too much then to run dry.

Check to make sure you don't have a grease zirk with a ball that's stuck. Poke 'em all with a sharp pick. If you do have one it will allow the grease to fly out that you just put in there. Usually you see them ooze right after you remove the grease gun, but not always.

checked them all and nothing is stuck as I didn't see anything come out of the zirk.. but will keep an eye on that.
