Driving a CMV without a license.

NC Medical division will mail you a letter you should receive within a week after your medical certificate is received. I make sure to carry a copy in my permit book "just in case". I have had several inspections this year and each time, by having a med card available, it made it easeir for the officer to complete his task, he didn't have to do a lookup on it. And not all of them are aware, or like, the fact that we aren't technically required to carry a card with us. Some even think we should have the long form available at all times also, which should fall under privileged medical information, and they are not qualified to review it.
