    Been driving in my socks since I started driving and in those 23 years I “bumped docks” for exactly one month while helping a friend of mine when he got buried in reefer freight. Never been in so big of a hurry that I couldn’t get my shoes on when I was pulling a flatbed or hauling livestock or pulling a pneumatic or my hopper. I already vacuum my truck a couple times a day because of my dog, I can’t imagine what my floor would look like if I was dragging dirt and everything else in on my shoes.

    Rugs on the floor, no clutter, no dirt, no dried pee from walking across the parking lot.

    @Long FLD
    1)
    The inside of your truck looks really nice. WOW!!
    2) There are people who do not keep their homes or living spaces looking that nice.

    God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

    Not bad for a 28 year old truck with shoes worn in the cab.

    Providing that I am not misunderstanding you, I was complementing @Long FLD on how nice the inside of his truck looks, along with saying that the inside of his truck looks nicer than some people's homes or living spaces.

    God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

    I'm curious how all that dirt got into the pedals from socks.

    I've owned it almost 20 years, but I know all the back story of the truck.

    Instead of sitting around at the shop waiting for the wash bay I’d throw a towel on the floor and let the attendant pull the truck in and out when he washed the pneumatic out. Sometimes he’d have calcium on his boots and if you tried to clean it before it was dry all you’d do was smear it around. And because we were getting washed out 2-3 times a week and the calcium sets up like concrete when it dries my pedals would have white crap on them until I put new rugs in every third week. But now that I’m not pulling a pneumatic I don’t have to worry about dirty pedals anymore. When I get back to my truck next Sunday I can take a pic for you and show you they’re clean.
